Featured Glass Pitcher

Saw this heavy green glass pitcher in a shop. Wondering if it is anything special or just something from the 70s when green was so popular. It piqued my interest so I thought I would ask you guys here. Sorry for the pic quality, best I could do. About 10 inches high. I just know one of you will recognize it right away.

 

The shape suggests a Heisey colonial pitcher. The mark should be an H in a diamond. Hard to se the mark though. Color not right for Heisey either. Might try Imperial Old Williamsburg as a possibility too.

 

It looks like Heisey Colonial but I don't know if they made it in green or who got the mold.

The avocado green glass behind it is by Independence and dates to the early 1970s. Tory Burch just knocked them off (as is her wont.)

pretty sure Heisey would have marked it. Possibly by Imperial:

I'd have said Imperial, in the amber/avocado '70s.

Yeah, It's from a Heisey mold. By then Imperial had stopped using the Heisey mark in response to a request from the Heisey collectors.

 

Out here in Heisey land (central Ohio), we see those all the time. It's a really nice pitcher if you need one. Of course Imperial made it. All the lovely colors were Imperial's work. I used to have a beautiful red one.
