Glass necklace (30's?) elephants

The necklace reminds me of 1930's era, I've seen similar with these kind of round beads at least. Czech? Hand knotted, necklace is flapper length, what caught my eye were the elephants. The whole thing is positively glass, not ivory. Glass possibly meant to imitate ivory?

Do you think 30's? Keywords? (Pressed glass? Molded glass?) First photo shows the necklace doubled. This was from the "saphiret sale". Thanks.

 

I have a necklace with beads like this, but no elephants.

 

On the sapphiret thread I mentioned custard glass. Speak of the devil and Lucille buys some by accident. This is a 1920s or early 30s Czech glass necklace. The white beads will glow under a blacklight. The brown paint is added to enhance detail.

I had some of those geometric beads and they were indee identified as Czech - mine had some hieroglyph ones too, very Egyptian revival. They were loose, a jewellery making friend got them and was very pleased.

Lovely string, that. Hell of a sale!
