    There are many glass mushrooms out there, by many makers. Yours is a nice one, so it could be signed. Could you post a photo of the bottom, and one straight on so we can see more of the shape?

    We don't do values here, but if we can find a maker we can usually point you in the right direction.

    It's Mdina Glass from Malta. I have way too many of them. They're lovely, but not high value.

    Now why didn't I recognize that.:banghead::banghead:
    So yes, it would be signed on the bottom.

    Not always signed. Early Mdina was often unsigned, as Michael Harris had a Thing about it. The later mass market items, like this, sometimes had labels instead. I've got these with and without signatures.

    Yes, I did think about that, but didn't mention it.

    I reckon under half my Mdina is marked, the rest has nothing, or the odd label. There's a deal of discussion on that in the excellent book which came out a couple of years back. You then get into the ramifications of Mtarfa, MDG, Valletta Glass et al. The Mdina Facebook group has members who were the original blowers, which is very cool.

    I'm hooked on Mdina, rather than mushrooms. It's the colours.
