Glass Medicine Cabinet?

    Hi everyone,

    We saw this nice cabinet with a distinct cross etched into the glass. Any info on the use and origin would be appreciated.

    Probably originally a commercial (counter top) display unit, probably from the "oak" period and recently painted. Others will know more.................

    Very nice early 20th century medical cabinet. Likely to house instruments and/or other supplies. While it has been repainted, it may have originally been white. White was de rigueur for such things in that time period.

    Thank you for some replies!

    Yes, the person who was selling this said it was a cabinet from around 1930s. And yes, he painted it.

    However my biggest question is what kind of symbol this is on the glass. I researched it in the internet and it is similar to German Army symbol but if somebody know what it is exactly, I would be really happy to hear about.
