Featured Glass Green log trough with no lid

I am confused as to what this log trough is and who made it. It is 5" long and 2-1/2" wide and 2-1/2" tall. Here are different titles that I came across in my image search

guessing this is a Wright reproduction of Northwood's novelty pump & trough; also seen as Fenton since they may have made them for Wright. It was a novelty item, so how it may have been marketed and used varied. The molds went to Mosser when the Wright molds were sold off.

ok, I read in one of the titles on one of the images it talked about a pump vase while it showed the planter it did not make sense then. Now, it does price tag for the 2 is pretty good, too. $72.50

 

Since the Northwood is not shown in green, this is a wright reproduction of Northwood's novelty pump and trough.
