I guess a souvenir piece but wonder if it was made around the time of the actual event or much later.
    Also, the glass maker?

    Hi,
Made by the continental can company in the 1970s. Notice the 'safety rim" on the glass.

    Hi,
The 'safety rim" on glasses was started by Libby. It is a slight extra rim of glass around the top. It was made to help the thin rims from chipping.

So, that reinforced rim was introduced by Libbey in the 70’s?

I’m illiterate in baseball and while on the subject was educating myself, Washington Senators /Nationals/ Minnesota Twins, Walter Johnson ...

So, I’m thinking they just did not randomly printed Washington Post cover with Nationals winning the 1924 World Series.
If made at later time, there must have been an occasion to choose that image?
