    I know the drill here!

    1) We need to see the bottom of the jar. 2)In future, could be see it against a plain pale back ground? 3)As much of the detailing and paint work as possible in pics.

    Quick and dirty thoughts: it’s a very nice size, pretty colours and where I am (London/home counties) a ginger jar like that even made YESTERDAY is desirable. But as a true antique? That’s the difference between £30 and... infinity. The ceramics crowd will be along any minute, they’ll help you if you help them ;)

    Yay! Just one more thing, bigger photos if possible. Squinting gives me wrinkles.:hilarious:

    It looks like a very nice but recent decorative item to me, but let's wait for the ceramics people.
