    About 26 1/2" long. Plated I guess?
The piece is mounted to wood but I wonder if there was some other use of it besides for decoration. There are threaded holes on the upper back but the back flowers are sticking out so not sure what was supposed to go there.
    Any suggestions on the age?
    Thanks

If the plant it resembles is id'd you will have a better idea of where it is from. My guess just based on the work and general subject would be Japanese. Maybe a GI broke it from or detached it from a larger work. It is high-quality metalwork, very well-rendered foliage. Guess ca. 1900 plus or minus 30 years. Gilded wrought iron? Not mass-produced IMO, the craftsman put the 3-dot matchmark there to identify what other piece fits there, which he also marked with 3 dots.

I think cherry blossoms. Either Chinese or Japanese. Non-ferrous metal. The casting is very well made.
The blossoms are on both sides so maybe a side piece.
