German Wehrmact Metal Flask Identified

hello guys,this is my first time posting for the military things here.So i got this metal flask,the seller is saying that this is belong to german wehrmact army,and he said this is the world war 2 thing,i want to know is this the right date for this kind of metal flask?or maybe a later production / post ww2?any helps will be appreciated,thank you!

yes i saw them on google,but i'm just afraid mine is a later reproduction

 

indeed, that's a problem. the Bundeswehr had them and they were sold also to the public in alu but without the cover well into the 70s.

 

what do you think about mine,do it looks like original ww2 or later reproduction?

 

try to see what's on the buttons and then compare to the google-ones.

Yours looks okay, standard M31. It's in really rough condition though. Almost relic like.

Have you checked it over good for any marks? Sometimes there are none. There could be a mark under the felt covering along the canvas seam line. There could be one on the neck under the cap. Does it unscrew?
Many times the straps and/or cups have identifying marks but yours are missing as previously mentioned.
