Hello everyone! I've got this syrup and I'm trying to figure out the country of origin. The bottom appears to be salt glaze but the top is marked C & W Pat. Jul. 16.72 which I would think is American. I know the maker of the top and bottom are not necessarily connected. It stands a little under 9" tall. At some point the top had a sloppy hinge repair and doesn't quite sit right. No other marks that I can find. I'm assuming the top is pewter. Any help with this syrup is much appreciated. Thanks!
