German porcelain dog figurine - manufacturer Identification help

I don’t know if this figurine is terribly old and if not, I apologize in advance for posting, but as I have not been able to locate another image online like them, I was hoping someone may be able to shed some light on the figurine’s age and manufacturer. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

 

There's a mark on the bottom, and it looks like it says Germany. I'd say there's no hope of finding out exactly which factory did the deed.
