German figurine

    I picked this up today. It seemed to have a bit of age and character so I asked if they would take it out of the cabinet. I think the mark on the base is Sitzendorf although I am not familiar with this. She has a Dulux gloss collar and I am thinking that she has been decapitated at some point. I will find out when I get home. :nailbiting:

    Is her dress yellow or just nicotine coated ?

    I think it's yellow but will have a closer look when I get home :rolleyes:

    Too cheap a price to pass up even if she lost her head at one point.

    I've removed what I can of the paint and sadly it is a restoration. Guess we knew that anyway. Looks like they used epoxy resin glue for a nice brown finish. :rolleyes:

    Think I will leave her lovely neck alone now. Oh and the nicotine yellow dress must have been en vogue at the time. Funny thing is fashion.
