Georg Jensen in USA? Are these someone’s initials?

Hi. I am thinking these are the real deal. Was having a problem finding USA mark. The rest looks right

Has the front been personalized? I’m reading L J and? P? T? I dunno.

Have not found any examples like this.
Any help is very much appreciated

Here's more information about Georg Jensen Fifth Avenue. The brands didn't separate until 1949-1950.

The initials appear to be hand engraved.

 

They're rather chic, aren't they? But think would be impossible to identify previous owner.

A design number, I'd think. This piece also carries one.
