WOW...and quite a story too.

 

the story is a bit more serious. Staechelin family from Basel built a family trust in the... USA to circumvent the terrible "tax-haven" Switzerland, still known for nazi-gold (paid back in the 50s...) , number accounts (dropped about 15 years ago) etc.
the painting will be seen a last time in civilized surroundings in the Beyeler Foundation near Basel and then disappear to most probably Qatar.
it seems there's a competition going on between the filthy rich camel-drivers of Qatar and Abu Dhabi; the latter wants to open a Louvre...

You do not have to wait to see the islands sink. The sea is so polluted now since the natural currents have been altered by the new land. No one wants to live on them due to the smell.
