20160624_132037~2.jpg Hello recently I have found a small g harvey landscape "print?" which is formed on a small oval peice of ceramic..you can tell it is quit old... Cannot find the picture regardless of how hard I look... Its the exact size of the ceramic oval that its placed on... Looks like a print however you can see on the back that its like a thick canvis like paper its on.. The picture its self is of a small dilapidated house with cactus and a barb wire fence around it and a small windmill like thing in the back ground.. It says g harvey but it looks much different then a lot of his famous paintings and prints... The style is exactly the same. Just wondering if anyone knows the name or can give me any info on why it is on ceramic? I love the piece its really incredible.. Hence why i want to know more about it! Thanks so much!

May we see the back, please?

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

It DOES look like his work... but... SO much less detailed.
Maybe this was a sketch for a later painting.
He WAS known for his western themed art, and yours IS that!

Exactly, Fig! The color saturation and detail are so different.
The signature is SO similar... makes me think that if it ISN'T his, it's an attempt at a fake...
And what's this image doing on a plate?
I'm interested to get a view of the back.

There are a lot of his prints on ebay for around 30 to 40 depending on size

G Harvey was my great uncle. My grandmother made these. I was hoping OP still had this.

Thank you so much for sharing that with us. So these small, decorative plaques signed G. Harvey were made by your grandmother using his paintings as inspiration? The OP's looks 1970s to my eye. Would that be correct?
