This came out of the never ending costume/junk bag form an auction way back. It’s cool for sure. The former owner who seems to maybe have had a booth had a $30 sticker on it even though it’s clasp or some links are missing. That seems pretty high even accounting for the neat factor. Can anyone tell me about it? Could it be worth that? 30s-50s somewhere? Chain is plastic I think 0B7A460E-5EAA-45B2-B2D8-DCE07A82378D.jpeg 5804A27F-1378-4C11-B1EF-7F1CE462D782.jpeg

Hm. I wonder if they thought it was Haskell or similar. I'm inclined to fifties ish or even forties. Clasp is an easy fix. It's well made.

Could the chain be celluloid? They go for quite good money.

1940s (plus or minus) celluloid chain, similar to this piece:

I think seller is way too hopeful with their price, but same era necklace and the clasp this has is what your missing clasp would look like this.

Are those clear tubes glass on yours, J. Dagger? I see one of the black ball beads is missing which will impact value. If you sell on Ebay I'd list this piece "for parts repair" and I'd think it would sell.

Same here. Maybe someone has an old clasp in search of a necklace.

Thnx for example and advice. Now that you mention it I think they are glass. I think the black beads may be glass too actually. One is definitely broken, it may have even been me who done it. Some of the glass tubes are broken too I just realized.

Someone may still want it for "parts/repair", for example if you sell on Ebay. Just be clear about which pieces are broken or chipped.
