Featured Funky vase.....? Ugly vase ? or better than I think it is ??

is it worth even keeping ?
it looked strange enough to leave sitting or pick up....but the numbers on the bottom didn't seem like a studio item....so for a few bucks...

Again bad..photo...... i'm having trouble with Picassa....and other things..
11 1/2 by 5 1/4 inches......

 

Nice piece my first thought is Germany, will have a poke around tomorrow.

I think this is a wonderful vase. And funky is good (unless you're talking about smell?? ). You have (very!) nice kind of low level plants, how about adding some tall, dried frothy grass in this vase for a high vertical effect? It's perfect for that, especially with the opposing horizontal banding. The color is perfect as well. I'm not an interior decorator at all, but I can spot a good use for interesting dried elements any day (just don't tell my always thirsty green plants I said that).

 

no but above it there seems to be a black K...that I can't scrub off and to the right iof the white sticker remains...a very faded arrow head...like a V with a line in the center.....

(Sorry komo, the German 60s pottery style is not my thing. Could be overexposure, like a heat stroke.)
