Featured Friends,is this a mudman?

Picked this little thing up last booty

He has a few small areas of damage but has a place in The Hoarditorium <3

Penny for scale but he's 6 cms ( two and half inches) down and across the base he's just under 4 cms ( an inch & a half)

Is he eating a peach?
Would he be 1920s/30s ish? xx

Or is he one of those things you could buy in garden centres in the 80s/90s? I do see things like that all the time but they are often resin)

Yes, your charming new friend is a mudman. A very small one too, sweet.

He is holding the peach, the symbol of longevity and immortality. He is an old man, so the peach seems to have done its job.

I doubt he is that old. Late 20th century maybe?

They turn up here regularly. He's not old, but he's well worth a space in the hoard. If that peach did its job the original gentleman may qualify for Older Than Dirt status and thus pair well with any dragons found.

Now wouldn't I just LOVE to find a dragon! Any type of dragon! I have a big cloth dragon hanging on my curtain rail that I got from a booty. Think he was originally from Ikea and was a draught excluder but he's much more fun jes' hanging around (looking a little limp I must say) and glarin' at some poor something I can't see ​

This is our foster fail: He was a feral fully grown boi who was in a colony where Mr. Bou worked. He got attacked and because he has CH, he got caught and his hand was nasty,so they caught him treated him and he had to go to a home to recover.
So he came here.
The idea was he'd return to his colony after his hand recovered but that was 5 ish years ago and he ain't going anywhere. He's our only boi so he's imaginatively called **Boi** though his name is Mordecai .
As I mentioned he has CH and I love it. He is SO funny, so full of character ( but aren't they all!?)
We have his sister too but she doesn't have CH
