Friar Monk Beer-Stein from Germany

Hello! Today we need help identifying and understanding this Friar Monk Beer-Stein that’s holding a bible and a beer from Germany.
It has a raised bottom that protrudes inside. And two black marks (like a 2) in the lid.
It’s roughly 7 inches tall by 5 inches in diameter.

the numbers on the bottom are possibly 4457

I think your mark is for Reinhold Merkelbach. It looks like it might be model 4107.

Impressed mark on #4038, dated between late 1930's - 1964

 

I think sometimes the pushed up base is where a music box sits. I found a few examples of the monk stein with musical lids but only one that "might" have had a music box in the base because of how the say it played but no photos of it.
