    Hi folks

something else i picked up yesterday for £3.50 in a charity shop
the pearls are quite a good size
cant tell if the blue beads are lapis or something cheaper like sodalite.
no precious metals or marks but is quite a nice quality

    any thoughts or info appreciated

The pearls are real freshwaters. The blue looks like denim lapis I wish they'd left alone. It's had the cwap dyed out of it. You can tell from all the gray in the stones. Sodalite doesn't have the pyrite inclusions.

The construction is the easiest, fastest, cheapest possible. I would hazard it was strung in China.

It’s a very pretty necklace. I can see why you got it.

Nice, I always like that colour combination.
They could be sodalite, that was my first impression.
Nothing wrong with sodalite though, even Peruzzi used it.
    Ditto.

Sodalite can have pyrite inclusions, it just isn't as common as in lapis lazuli.
That said, I don't see pyrite, but my Covid eyes know it is monday morning.:playful:

IMG_3884.jpeg Pretty little necklace for a pretty little price.
Agree with probably made in China.
I bought something a bit similar a few weeks ago for around the same price.
Mine also has the (faceted) lapis, fluorite, rose quartz and some fresh water pearls.
I plan on adding a clasp on mine and use it to layer with other necklaces.
To me its a fun 'Summer' necklace

Yup. It's a pretty-pretty, suitable for messing with. Purple fluorite is pretty but doesn't sell for much.
