    Hi everybody,

The title says it all, basically.

I have 2 frosted glass lampshades, made by Sèvres,
in the 19th Century. Flambeau/Torch shades.

I have these for over 1,5 years, and I can't find anything about it.
I have once saw a sevres bronze candelabra with +10 lights, but
not sure if the glasses were signed to.

Mine have the inscription on it.

    See pictures.
Any information, also due to approximate value would be welcome.

I think they are quite rare though.
(I do know that the 'normal' -unsigned- flambeau shades, and reproduction exicst)

    Thank you very much!
    R. Antonis

(On the last pictres, they are the 2 smaller ones)

They look like wall sconce lampshades to me. Would suggest looking those up on ebay with a few search terms... "sevres lampshade torch" or something like that. If you find something similar you could filter by 'Sold Items' and see what they sold for.

More probably the shade. They're just gorgeous. Would love to see one lit.

maybe the three little ones are from sconces and the two big ones are from lamps? Makes you wonder if they all came from the same room. They do indeed look like soft serve / ice cream, ha.

Lots of makers and reproductions of these out there. Used to be, before the repros hit the market, a small one was about $75.00 and a larger one a $100.00 or so here in the Midwest. Prices have dropped with all the reproductions. Search ebay and you will find a lot of examples, if not an exact match. Not sure the mark means all that much except to maybe establish that yours are genuinely old. You will find prices all over the place on ebay so you may need to sift through to find those that compare more favorably to yours. I would expect yours to be on the higher end value-wise.

Beautiful and very nicely articulated. Agree that these will be higher-end in value, although its all relative these days.

The don't come from the same place. I have bought these in 3 times.
One (unmarked) I have used for a spelter statue that I have restored.
I'm quite proud of the result, so I have attached a couple of pictures from the restoration, and end result as well. I sold it a while ago.

20 years ago I found this chandelier, with only one original lamp shade. It weights 5 kilos, very heavy. I suspect it is French.
