French Faience pottery , please help ID!

    I bought this beautiful plate at a brocante recently. Does anyone have an idea on age (is it really XIX century? Or a repro?) ? Also, I love the grotesques in the painting! Thanks!

    Very difficult to say without handling but it looks okay. Would have expected a few nibbles to the rim for an early piece though.
