I was so glad to find these 4, as I cannot (yet) locate a fairly large (20 or so) collection of similar points that are ancient...or so I was told upon acquisition, 40 years or so ago. These are a much more recent purchase, from an equally uninformed seller, for $5 total.
I am almost completely ignorant about the indicators that might tell when an' perhaps by who made, or the natural material they may be made from. I am hopeful that one or more of you will be familiar with this kind of work, an' may offer insight into what I have here.
The 3 slim ones (top) are from 2 1/8" to 2 3/8" long an' ~5/8" wide; the fat one is 2 1/4" long an' ~3/4" wide. Thanks for lookin'!

The material may be flint, a stone used because of the way it breaks to form sharp edges. Flint (k)nappers make these. Saw a demo once and tried it.

In my ignorance, flint is gray or black. Apparently not so...Thanks.

They are beautiful, but I couldn't say if they're authentic or not.
My cousin makes them too, he is a Fantasy writer who loves pre-history.
Flint can be many colours, including these ones.

Try using chert as a search term instead of flint.

"The only difference between chert and flint is color: flint is black or nearly black and chert tends to be white, gray, or pink and can be either plain, banded, or preserve fossil traces."
https://sites.pitt.edu/~cejones/Geo...tween chert, banded, or preserve fossil traces.

These all look like they may have been made by the same contemporary (modern) knapper. I do not know the origin of the prehistoric style they are reproducing.
