Found this lovely coalport plate. What is this shape called? Imari pattern?

    Very pretty, but not an Imari style.

    What does it say beneath Coalport?

    Well, it is an Imari palette, and without England on the mark, before 1891, but not by much. I think you could call it a ruffled edge or rim, but I don't know if that's the correct term.

    I'd call it Imari palette too. Might be an underplate.
