    I found this box today. Curious if anyone can fill me in on possible origin or style classification? Thanks everyone!

    I don't think it's all that old; it looks like it came from an import shop selling mostly Asian pieces. The inside and the outside are the same color, so it was made to resemble an old piece. Put a few screws back in however and you'll have a nice box for whatever use you want to put it to. And the price was right!

    Made in a home shop, mid-to-late 20th C. No signs of age we always look for, such as wear, oxidation, etc. Certainly usable though.
