Found in local river, no idea what it is!

    IMG_6865.jpeg IMG_6866.jpeg IMG_6867.jpeg IMG_6868.jpeg I found this sticking out of the mud in the river nearby. It doesn't resemble anything I'm familiar with, if even military... anyone have any ideas? There does seem to be a wooden bung / stopper in the broken end.

    Kinda looks like some kind of welding/burning tip from a gas welder, Oxy setup.
