Featured folk art ? fox hunt painting on plate

    found this today in a charity shop today for a pound

    would you consider it in a folk art style, thats what i sort of get from it

    im presuming painted on a blank, as can find nothing similar from porcelain company

    measures 10"

    listed in art as more of a painting really

    any thoughts appreciated

    No, not folk art. And do take off the hanger carefully. They're very damaging.

    Did you see this Charlie ? I think this is a production piece,albeit not a terribly exact one .
    The Royal Art Pottery Company was in occupation of the Waterloo Works between at least 1897 and 1915. (click for more)

    The works became named as the Royal Art Pottery (see 1907 map above) and was operated by Alfred Clough Ltd. from at least 1940 to the mid 1960's
