Hi Mugz!! Love your little (I think) pitcher!! But the close-ups of the bottom mark are just too blurry to read......any chance you can get a clearer shot while still trying to be close??? Are you using a smartphone or an actual camera?? Thanks

It is a cutie, and it looks English to me as well. Another one for @Ownedbybear I think.

The mark looks a great deal like a Burgess & Campbell / International Pottery Company from Trenton, N.J. mark though sure is hard to tell. They did make flow blue patterns so it might be worth a look.

Well the mark looks pretty good to me too. Don't ask me why this looked American to me but I found the mark in Lehner's. A Google didn't turn up this exact pattern including the molding for me nor did the lone book I have on Flow Blue China.

I don't have any depth on flow blue but as it's been so popular I imagine someone knows it.

What did amuse me is how many patterns that don't seem to "flow" are pictured in the book. Maybe they "flow" sometimes but you'd think they'd put those examples.:bored:

I think it does too, it's just the molding that seems off to me but maybe they used a variety of blanks? shrug emoji smal purple.jpg

You can see the embossed scroll or whatever that is on covered items in a google image search. The only thing I wonder about is that some things have gold trim, and some things are marked Royal Blue on the back. There could be two pattern names, but, really, a buyer will figure out if they want it or not.
