Featured Floor lamp of uncertain age

The base is metal and marble. The shade is white glass. Unfortunately I really can’t keep it, but I would love to have some idea of age. Any info appreciated! Sorry there’s no photo of the bottom or the plug.

 

I have one of those in my garage.....but my kid bust the shade in the 80's

yours is big and nice.... 1st quarter of the 1900's.....imo

I have a torchiere floor lamp similar to this with a pierced fitter like yours, and opalescent glass shade. Your shade is pretty.

Mine does, and it provides some great light in these dark winter months!

Thanks! I’m pretty sure the drum must then be a souvenir of my grandfather’s trip to China in the 1920’s or ‘30’s.

Nice torchiere from the 20s-30s. Most of the value is in the shade so don't break it. You can get reproductions but none as nice as this one. Lots of shades and a few complete lamps on ebay. Similar complete lamps selling for $200-250.00 + shipping. Some shades selling for nearly as much.
