Featured Fleur de Lis Pin

    From the title I was expecting a writing implement. These are often called trombone clasps.

    Lovely brooch. I would say 1920ish. Those empty bezels are screaming for garnets or coral.
    Did you check for a tiny mark on the pull knob of the clasp?
    No marks, maybe Italian? In which case the fleur-de-lys would be a giglio.;)
    Not the Florentine giglio though, that has sprigs in between the petals.

    Fleurs-de-lys are quite common in different parts of Europe, we Dutch have our share of them too.:)
