I have no clue if I am posting this in the correct place but eberyone has been so helpful in the past that I thought that I would ask for help again. I have discovered that I am no good at research.....lol.

Anyway. This is another piece that I have been trying to find info amd value on. If anyone could help that would be amazing. Please let me know if you would need any other info.....although I dont have much.

    Thanks again!

    Welcome!
Go to edit and use the full image button for all photos always.
If they won't load then clear them all, make your photos 480x640 and reload then hit the button once for all.

These are the only markings that I could find on the backs of the prices.

    lose, not loose. ;)

I wonder whether this is the exterior parts of a what the English used to burn coal in for room heating? Missing the "insert" part where the actual burning took place.

It is, of course, missing the "guts". Could have been for coal or wood. Likely plated cast iron. Does a magnet stick? Made by a lot of different companies and maker doesn't matter all that much. I had a very similar one in a house I owned that was built in 1895. Would date to that period give or take.

Fireplace insert, probably British, and no real guts missing. This covered the opening to a fireplace - coal basket inside, that's all, and flue going up the chimney.

The basket sat below and behind the insert, with that separate grate in front. You opened the grille as needed.

This probably came from a bedroom, looking at the size and shape. The fireplace itself might have had a nice tiled surround and a small mantel.

Mid 19th C or slightly later and very desirable here.

Hm. Having said it might be one of ours, have a look at this:
