    I think the oval spot that I’ve shown in the last pic could be a mark but it’s too smudged.
    Can we call this Brutalist style?

    Seems like similar one was done in plaster as well. Both the metal one and the plaster are also attributed to Ellen Lord of Austin Production. However, her faces seem to be more childish

    The plaster one appers to be signed with Austin Prod. But no artist signature

    This seller claims that the metal one is faintly marked in the front but does not say what’s the mark

    maybe the difference as to who made it is in the weight - in your first link the piece by Chaim Gross weighs 6 1/2lb., Ellen Lord example weighs 4lb 12oz.

    IF Chaim Gross ever made it. So far no proof of his signature on the piece.
    If it was made both by Gross and Lord then one jacked the design from the other. Unless another original example exists and they both did it after it. But I doubt that a famous sculptor like Chaim Gross would replicate someone else’s work.
