Figural Liquor Bottles Monk & Nun Pottery

    Hi,
    I thought these would be easy to find but coming up empty - maybe I'm using the wrong keywords. Each one stands 11 1/4" in height, stilt marks on the base.
    Anyone know who made them or what they contained? I'm assuming liquor but could be wrong.

    Wow is right! Interesting story about them - now I hope my colours are ones that people are collecting. Thanks again @janetpjohn I don't think I ever would have found them, your knowledge on pottery (and other areas) is amazing.

    Thanks, guys; I think I looked at images for nun pottery bottle, and it was right there. Of course, that was after I tried priests and monks. :) You just never know.
