I bought these yesterday too. Dating this is really confusing, any help would be great. All of them have different marks. IMG_0965.JPG IMG_0966.JPG IMG_0967.JPG IMG_0968.JPG

The website Laurel Hollow Park has a nice section on dating HLC Fiesta. http://laurelhollowpark.net/

There's also a facebook page called Ohio River Pottery that has lots of information on Homer Laughlin and other potteries "along the river."

    Hi,
Sorry but I can not find my glasses so I am squinting. Your turquoise pieces are all from the 50s. Your light green piece is from the 40s. I could give you better dates when I find my glasses. I think Ricky the cat has them somewhere. I am going to start calling him Rickster.

    Hi,
The easiest way to tell is if it has sager marks on the back it is old. The newer post 1986 stuff has Fiesta written with a capital F and the rest in an arc. If it has the fiesta in a straight line it is older.

Thanks Greg so you would date these in the 40s and 50s? I got 3 more pieces but when I got home I noticed chips in them. I just grabbed them because that estate sale was packed with people. As I was picking these up a lady come around me and got my yellow pitcher I was going to get. Got these for 3 dollars!!!

    Hi Roger,
With the back stamps I would date them no earlier than the 40s and no later than the early 60s. Good luck in your hunting. When I first started collecting Fiesta I would pay maybe 25 cents for a bushel basket full. The most I ever paid was 5 bucks for a carafe. My all time regret was missing out on set of mixing bowls still in the box for 20 dollars. My regret was I knew the seller as an elderly lady at the flea market for years, I came late and another dealer I knew walked off with the set. He asked me if the bowls were real. I told him what I thought they would bring and then saw the written label by the elderly lady I knew. 20 minutes earlier I would have had them and given the lady 300 bucks for them.
