    hi folks

a couple of glass pieces i found thrifting yesterday (different shops) both around £3, 3.50 each

the blue one is a 3 layered glass, a bit like cameo glass but with swirls
rough pontil, so thinking maybe chinese ?

the second one is quite a nice quality, sculpture?, cane glass ?
polished pontil, and remnants of a sticker

any thoughts or info on the glass very much appreciated

bought these large glass bulbs for a £1 each because of the nice colours, no idea what they are for though, or if they work

Love them, charlie. I get a Chinese vibe from both.
Those were probably meant for a studio, or a stage or even a nightclub.

Red curl is Chinese, missing its square clear glass base. Blue one, not Chinese, imo. It’s the look of some dalian, but it’s too chunky. There’s a scandi maker did those.

bet those bulbs came from a disco light changing box, I had one.

We have can lights under the eaves of the garage in front as you walk up to the front door. Those lights would be the type used at the Holidays for a little fun (although you wouldn't be able to see as well, lol). And also, set to flash as disco lights.

I love the red glass sculpture. Others who commented are likely correct about it. But I think that someone who is into MCM or Modern style would love that piece as decor because the color and shape are just perfect for that style.

Love the vase ! The red thing looks very much like ones I saw in home decor stores the past few years. Pretty though.

Nothing wrong with modern Chinese glass, it's decorative and well made. Azerbaijan on the other is a very good thought. I'd forgotten that.
