Found this today. It's a Fenton reverse strawberry basket. I don't think it's uranium glass but it glows like mad under a UV light. Question is, what is making it do that? Does it have something added or is it just because it is opaque and white?

manganese will fluoresce very slightly under black light, but it is hard to see unless in total darkness upon close examination. What I'm seeing here is light reflecting on the white opalescent treatment. I have some opalescent pieces and the light reflecting from the white opalescence makes it a bit difficult to see the fluorescence from the manganese.
