Was browsing an antique store and saw this in a dark case I never really look at and noticed this piece. I bought it for $20, it is marked 14k twice but no maker mark! weighs 20 grams. It is damaged on one of the bezels for the jade but is still secure. The jade is dark and reminds me of Alaskan jade perhaps? Does anyone know? I think it appears to be 1960ish?

Great find! Could it be spinach jade? We sold some recently and it did appear to be darker until we got some light through it.

The colour is very British Columbia jade to my eye.

Joint spring ring with a solid trigger says earlier than 60s to me. Usually on early 20th c stuff I see but others may be more expert on narrowing that down.

$20 is great on anything marked 14k! Crazy they missed that but amazing luck for you!

I think you may be right about this! I got back from vacation the other day and had some time to look it over (I found this the day before I left!). The clasps do appear to be original and color matching. It is a nice rose gold 14k I typically see on pieces from the early 1900s. Im starting to think it may be 1910s perhaps? I can't find anything similar online however.... any more thoughts?
