    Hi,

I'm adding some more photos inc. through a magnifying glass. Can anyone see dots to indicate these are prints? From the research I did I couldn't see that this is an artist who has his work reproduced, would like your opinion please.

    Thank you!

I found references to a Fairfax-Cameron as a Yorkshire water colorist, but no biographical info. What little I could see looked comparable. One painting went unsold for 235£.

My guess is a local artist, probably a dedicated amateur, maybe producing views for the tourist market.

These 2 paintings do look like water colors with use of thick, opaque pigments called gouache.

Thank you, that matches my research too... I was worried about selling something as original if it was not. I couldn't see that he was well known or his work expensive enough for there to be prints of his work.

You can delete it if the edit box is still showing.
Edit, More Options, there is a delete next to the pictures. Click on the ones you want to get rid of. Then Save.

It is nice to have a pair. However, if selling - you will realize more if you sell them individually.

That's a good point, I did wonder if having two complementary paintings would help them sell quicker, albeit for less.

Don't know how you intend to sell.

I have a retail store, so I price individually with a lower price for a pair or lot, depending on what it is I'm selling.

Start at a price above what you really want. Someone may make an offer for the pair

Look like paintings to me. Do the Moors of Devon even look like this?

Artist has the odd ability of making English scenes look tropical. Here's Yorkshire.
