Faience planter, any idea whose mark this is?

    It looks French to me, Desvres Faïence, from NW France.

    I don't know anything about authenticity, but the mark bears some resemblance to one of the marks of Desvres maker Fourmaintraux. Fourmaintraux was a family of ceramicists, so there are bound to be different marks.

    Not nestled. It is a line, the same size font as the other lines and the same distance, to show the source of the photo, and so people could check it out for themselves. If you look at other threads you'll see that it happens all over Antiquers.;)
    Anyway, as you saw, it is there in post #4, and can be checked by those who are actually willing to look, as you were.:)
