Factory painting? Signed Siggi.

I thought the quality of this miniature 5" x 7" painting was exceptional, But possibly a factory painting. I could not find anything with this Signature.
I re framed it before taking the pics as the green frame it came in just didn't work for this painting.

It does look like a factory painting, but they don't usually have recognizable signatures. Since we all call signatures "siggies" it's rather tongue-in-cheek. There is an Icelandic yogurt called Siggi's because that's an Icelandic nickname as well for Sigurd.

 

I am thinking now maybe an Oregon local artist rather than a factory painting. the creek and trees are similar to Oregon or Washington

There is an Oregon artist that lived on the Oregon Coast around Rockaway Beach and Garibaldi that is named Siggi. I have several of her paintings and the signature is the same. I haven't been able to find her but her work is very nice.
