Exterior women's wallet material

    I can not identify the material on this women's wallet. Reminds me of crotcheting or creweling materials. Maybe a berber short carpet material? I hope someone can help me to describe this material. Thank you for your assistance. Rob

    Late 1960s. Early 1970s. At the time, fabric was called "tapestry." Not hand-worked.
