I am having trouble finding any good authenticated comparables. I also could not find the exact results for this lot item. I did find this one that is visually similar. The website does say that they deal in vintage one of a kind items but are usually only a few decades old.

The shapes of those vessels remained the same for a very long time. What you need to look at is the construction, the natural wear and aging of the metal.
As you can see, the construction of the pots differs slightly, and the copper of the second one is thinner, and there is less wear.
    Could you show us yours?

Does anyone know how to remove heavy oxidation from copper without removing the Patina

Do you mean verdigris, the green stuff? Or just tarnish?

It's a white oxidation, when I wipe with a wet rag, you can see the patina. But when it drys it becomes a chalky white

Sounds like polish residue. Try soapy water, and dry well.

If a few go's with soapy water doesn't work, try alcohol. On the copper, not inside you.;)
