    If it was confiscated by the German's, would it not rightfully belong to the family from whom it was confiscated?

    Sadly there is so much stuff, even in museum collections that has never been returned..... I think it is really disgusting.....

    Sometimes there's no one left to return it to, and if the wood is indeed from one of the Temples then it's only fitting for it to land in Jerusalem.

    LOL Yeah! good luck with that!
    There are a ton of important artifacts all over the world where this issue of ownership sometimes causes some seriously hurt feelings.
    I have seen auction objects taken off the sale block while ownership questions were litigated in court, it's a serious issue, no doubt.

    Sorry I hate anything too fussy. I love real nice wood grand piano's and it should go back to Jerusalem and stay there
