    Hi all,

Recently I have purchased a vase, and having a hard time trying to evaluate the piece. I have searched online in order to find something similar, without any luck. Any piece of information you would provide will be beneficial at this point.

The piece is made of porcelain and brass, vase figures are also made of brass. It is very heavy, and it is tall (43 inches). Would you know what time period that vase might belong to? Who or what company could potentially make such piece, etc..

Also, I love the look of the vase, and planning to keep it, but out of curiosity, would anyone of you know or guess how much something like that is truly worth on the market today?

I appreciate your responses, thank you

Would like to see the base. Even if it’s just metal the working might give a clue.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

    Welcome, lucas!

    This link (https://www.wayfair.com/keyword.php?keyword=porcelain+and+brass+vase)
includes a modern vase or two in the same general shape, although the motifs are very different. I can't tell the vintage of yours, and am not an expert on such things. But others will be along, I'm sure. Anyway, you can see what is being asked for the new ones in the link. The first one on the page, which I think is closest in shape to yours, is not as tall. Looks like it is 30 inches tall.

I do like the curled horns on the goats(?) and the little fellow playing a pipe. He's not Pan, I don't think. But that's who immediately came to mind.

    Hi,

I have checked the link, there are vases with brass, but still not looking close to that one, hmm

    Thank you

That's funny. For me there is one that is first on the page in which the vase is shaped similarly, and there is a brass rim at the top. As I mentioned, the motifs are very different. This is a page with just that vase.

Probably not that important to your questions but I wanted to follow through.

I'd check the barcode first for origin country. looks Chinese, artificial craquelé, hodgepodge of styles.
