Framed art measures 12 1/2" x 10 3/4". Hung is a Museum in CT, museum framed it.

Interesting Article, thanks Debora. I assume this hung in the gallery named on back.

Worth noting that this article is itself an advertisement for a service, so take with a grain of salt. I've never worked in a shop, or with any framer, that didn't know that museum quality means uv protection, cotton rag, taped frames, etc. That includes corp shops. The customer should always go over process and materials used with the framer so they're aware, and understand that museum quality costs much more than standard. The UV glass alone is very costly, and the top tier UV glass can be more expensive than the frame. (It's really beautiful though... Almost no glare.) I've seen many galleries not use uv glass, and I know museums that don't go for the top tier (even though it's labeled "museum glass" ironically). You can check for uv resistant glass by shining a light on it and seeing if the light reflection looks blue-green or purple.

This is about the club and mentions the print:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Almack's

I'm not sure what this says, except that the print was out there in 1892:
    https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:The_first_quadrille_at_Almack's_-_The_Reminiscences_and_Recollections_of_Captain_Gronow_(1892),_opposite_32_-_BL.jpg

This looks more lithographic to me than intaglio. I'm not finding anything definitive on when the print first appeared.

This says lithograph and woodcut, but even they don't know when:

Note that this last one is without text.

Mirana, I used a light and I do think I see purple.

More, I am going to retake pictures in better light tomorrow.
