Featured Estate Find Ivory Napkin Ring?

    This is 7/8" wide and measures 1 3/4" across the opening. Is it a napkin ring? Any idea on age?

    Definitely ivory & if not a napkin ring, can't imagine what it is.

    It is Canton ivory. Canton (Guangdong) was the region in China where a lot of this finely carved ivory was made, principally for export.
