Hello everyone! I've always got something I bought thinking it was one thing and then hitting a wall. This time it's a very nice oil bottle (I think) that reminded me of Pattee Cross. I still think it might be a US Glass product because the stopper and the upper collar (reminds me of King's Crown) seem to elements of US Glass but that's about all I can come up with. It's about 9 3/4" tall. Any help you can provide would be much appreciated. Don

Tallcakes once again to my rescue! Obviously my EAPG reference library needs some updating since I can't find any reference to that pattern. I usually use McCain first and then Heacock, then Reilly & Jenks. I also have some of the Webb Lee books. What am I missing?

there are several different 'Paragon' patterns by different makers. Found this one at EAPGpatterns; also noted as from the Model Flint plant, which was part of the National combine.

it's a good site for EAPG research and has areas for carnival glass and Depression Glass as well; also has a section based on motifs much like McCain, but much more complex. So it takes some time to learn the site.

That's okay - now that I've finally mailed off my Christmas presents I have nothing but time! At least until New Years Eve!;)
