This scene being so specific looking has me thinking this is a real view of somewhere rather than a fantasy scene. Looks like an American sterling mark, possibly Towle though it’s worn. The engraving and filigree work may have been done elsewhere I guess. Came with a Montreal spoon but I don’t know if they began life on the same trip. It’s probably a long shot but does anyone recognize the view? 371046F4-487F-426C-879E-30DE2CBAA7DE.jpeg 7AEA67FC-61DA-4FBF-B052-57D6BBA1635B.jpeg 85B087CB-FB85-4551-96A5-6D6D72709549.jpeg

    Looks like a mining location.
Odd that the name is not on it.
    Miner made?

Ah, that’s interesting! I was wondering if that was tracks swooping down. You’ve got a good point about the locations name being absent. If it was made for sale the name would be there you’d think. If it was made by someone familiar with the location or for someone familiar with the location it wouldn’t be necessary necessarily. Thanks

Dirty coal or clean coal? :p

I guess coal was mined pretty widely which would make it hard to pin down.

Strange might mean valuable, relatively speaking. The spoon market likes this I believe.
