thumbnail_20210602_125707 PIN RED ENAMEL FLOWER STERLING.jpg thumbnail_20210602_125732.jpg thumbnail_20210602_125752.jpg thumbnail_20210602_130412.jpg Any ideas on maker, time period? No maker's mark, just 925. Thanks in advance.
-Also, what flower would you guess for this? Daffodil or just stylized?
-Lastly, do you think the orientation should be pointing down like the 2nd to last picture? The 925 is correctly oriented that way and the clasp is on the top when it points down.

Orchid. The correct way up is so you can read 925 properly.

No particular age on it, but this is one case where no one's going to care. It's not signed and if resold it sells for the "pretty" instead of the age.

With rare exceptions, brooches with the pin mounted horizontally are the right way up when a right handed person could easily pin it on herself by inserting the pin from right to left. Also, if a brooch has a modern safety clasp, the brooch is the right way up when it closes with the catch down, so gravity works with it.
