Featured Enamel bracelet, am I right?

Hi all! Just checking I'm right about this before selling. I picked this up for 50 cents yesterday, finally an enamel piece that's not damaged!

I'm thinking Czech or German, circa 1940s? Or is it french?

I don't see enamel, Rachel. The green 'stuff' is separate cabs, each one kept in place by a claw mount.

 

Oh interesting, I suppose generally you wouldn't put enamel in claws in case of damage? It's upstairs right now so I'll check again, but they're not stones.

 

Agree, they don't look like stones. Maybe glass or glazed ceramic?

 

Can you get a better image of the back of the cabs?

 

Was about to type, pretty sure this is glass, but looking back at the 2nd photo, this does sort of look like a cab with some kind of coating.

I agree enamel is not what one would expect for a cab like this, but is it maybe possible? It seems like its not solidly green, as if it's green coating. Not sure what this is.

Rachel, when you are getting a better pic of the back for OBB, could you also do a close up of this area?

 

It looks like enamel on copper, which is why I wanted to see the back better.

 

I got more photos of the edges and back, but they're hard to see! The claw mounts almost look glazed in if that makes sense? They're not fully on top of whatever is is.

Enameled copper set in Victorian Revival goldtone metal. No idea where it came from, except that I doubt it's American.

 

It might well be one of ours. That border looks it.

Yep I saw a lot of jade come up. There is an eBay listing that is nearly identical except with blue stones, I'll try to find it again.

Here's the link to that listing! They don't really know either, it could be Limoges enamel but it could easily be something else.

 

Glazed ceramic is what I think I see, as well.
